What a year 2014 has been. It’s all a little overwhelming but in the best possible way. We’ve seen lighting strike over the waters of Lake Garda, watched as a peloton of cyclists whizzed passed us in the Yorkshire Dales, marvelled at the black sand beaches of Iceland, felt the sun on our face as it set on Bodmin Moor and seen wedding guests strip off to dive into the sea off the coast of Dubrovnik.

We’ve watched on in awe as the best wedding singer in the world held a full Tipi of people in the palm of his hand whilst rapping to the Black Eyed Peas. We’ve heard speeches that brought tears to our eyes and made our stomachs hurt from laughter. It really has been a year and a half. We were fortunate enough to be regionally shortlisted for the National Wedding Awards for Best Wedding Photographer 2015 and have had the honour of being recently included in the prestigious group of top photographers 20Collective.

To all of our couples, thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You have allowed us the freedom to photograph your wedding day without conditions or restraints, and just trusted us to tell your story as we saw it and that’s something that we just can’t thank you enough for. Most of all we’ve laughed, good god we’ve laughed. You guys have been so much fun to photograph and we genuinely feel lucky to have become good friends with so many of you. You really are awesome.

Thank you should also go to everyone who has helped us this year, our families and friends for being supportive and patient with us when we’ve gone AWOL during the summer months, the suppliers who have done a superb job and a whole community of photographers who have pushed us, encouraged us, drank with us, laughed with us, photographed us, and generally been the best group of people we know.

It’s pretty much impossible for us to pick favourites so we’ve chosen these on impulse, these frames just stuck in ours minds for days and weeks after taking them. So sit back, grab a cuppa and some biscuits and enjoy the photographs below and as the old saying goes, the show’s not over until a drunken friend hugs you whilst singing into a shoe!
