I can’t believe that it’s nearly Christmas and the end of the year. The year seems to have sped past me so quickly and all I’ve been able to do is cling on and hope to keep up. We’ve had some incredible weddings in some truly spectacular venues and many many beautiful couples along the way which have left us driving home utterly speechless at just how good the day has been. Putting together a collection of my best wedding photographs of 2013 was so hard that in the end I’ve had to break it up into three parts, the next two installments will follow next week.

I also really wanted this to be a true review of our year so you’ll forgive me for including a little personal work along the way. These are the highlights of the year for me, every single one of these photos has made me smile from ear to ear. Many of these are printed and either in wedding albums or hanging on our walls at home.

It’s been a year of some fantastic highs and I need to thank every single couple that have made Hannah and I a part of their wedding day. For welcoming us into your homes, for looking after us and being so completely open to ideas and our approach on the wedding day itself. These photographs are entirely full of the love that you put into the making of them and I couldn’t have made them without you so thank you and congratulations once again, you’re awesome.

Next year is shaping up to be another year full of eclectic and fun weddings and if it’s half as good as this year has been then I’ll be over the moon. So sink into the sofa with a cuppa and grab a mince pie, I hope you really enjoy looking through our year.
